SHIHAD
Originating in New Zealand and relocating to Australia not long after forming, these hard rockers are the biggest rock band Down Under. With their eighth and most melodic album ‘Beautiful Machine’ a huge hit there (with no less than three number ones and four top ten singles), the four-piece are now set to cause waves in the UK, with show in July and the album seeing a release here. With 20 years of experience playing together, Jonny Toogood (vocals/guitar), Phil Knight (guitar/keyboard), Karl Kippenberger (bass) and Tom Larkin (drums) are only getting better and bigger with time. This is the rise of the Beautiful Machines.
‘Beautiful Machine’ is out now on Warner.
Shihad play London’s Shepherds Bush Empire on 5th July and Guilfest on 6th.
