It's obvious from the opening title track of Canterbury's new album that they've got an extra spark that sets them apart from their peers. With well placed strings and echoed backing vocals, it's as epic as the flag waving cover art and sets out the quartet's stall. More personal than debut 'Thank You', it also shows impressive dynamics, with 'Something Better' sure to impress fans of Lostprophets' epic rock moments and 'Gloria' and 'Drive Ride Drive' both erupting with huge choruses. Released through their own Sweet Lime Records, this is a rising UK band doing things on their terms. And how.
