'The Dollyrots' is the self-titled 4th album from the Los Angeles duo The Dollyrots, out on Monday (September 24th) on Arrested Youth Records.

It’s a mix of super-slick modern pop, classic three-chord punk rock, and a healthy dose of 80's new wave. All the sugary, catchy, and aggressive elements that have become expected of the band are present and coupled with the spontaneous and decisive recording style of producer John Fields. The band consists of Kelly Ogden (vocals/bass) and Luis Cabezas (guitar/vocals).

The Dollyrots return to the UK and Ireland this October for the ‘One Big Happy’ tour with Texan pop-punk favourites Bowling For Soup and also feature on their forthcoming album of the same name. They’ve not only contributed a brand new song but also a rendition of a track belonging to each of the tour bands (BFS & Patent Pending). Kelly and Jaret (BFS) then wrap things up with a brilliant duet.

While being self-proclaimed California transplants, Kelly and Luis relocated to LA from their native Florida to live the rock ’n’ roll dream. It’d be fair to say that they are well on track with this 4th album in-hand. They have had a string of major TV appearances, international music licenses, and 600+ shows under their belt playing alongside the likes of Bowling For Soup, Buzzcocks, The Go-Gos, Paramore and Joan Jett.
