They’ve got an album called ‘Elementary’, and it’s an amazing kind of fusion of dark and light, really heavy with beautiful vocals. Definitely one to go out there and listen to.” LISTEN HERE What was the first record you ever bought? “I can’t really remember. I think it was probably Prodigy ‘Experience’. It’s a bit way out from what people would think!” LISTEN HERE Do you have an all time favourite album? “I don’t think I’m wise enough to answer that, I’m very indecisive! If I was stuck on an island, something soothing like Sigur Ros, ‘Takk’. It doesn’t matter how many times you listen to that album, it’s so refreshing every time.” LISTEN HERE Name an album guaranteed to start a fight at a party. “I’m sure it would be Britney Spears.” LISTEN HERE You’re getting friendly with your girl – what’s the soundtrack of choice? “‘Mezzanine’ by Massive Attack, it’s a guarantee. Trust me.” LISTEN HERE What’s the most embarrassing record in your collection? “‘Cotton Eye Joe’ by Rednex. For some reason it struck a chord. I don’t know why!” LISTEN HERE White line fever. What’s your ultimate driving album? “‘Burn My Eyes’ by Machine Head is a pretty legendary record that gets us all fired up.” LISTEN HERE What’s the next album you intend on buying? “I’m eagerly awaiting a new album by Dillinger Escape Plan.” LISTEN HERE ‘Be Human’ is out April 20th on Search and Destroy.
