MAEVEN

Maeven are a four-piece all-girl trash-punk-death-rock band originally from Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Formed in 2005, these girls definitely rock harder than any guys, and at full volume! Maeven's debut self-titled album was recorded at Axis Studios and produced by themselves and Matt Elliss in December 2007. It is out now on Lockjaw Records. Maeven have played in venues all over the UK, and had a massively successful tour in the United States in 2006, playing at legendary venues such as the Whisky-A-Go-Go, The Roxy and the Cat Club. Maeven have also supported established bands such as Trashlight Vision, Dogs D'Amour, John Corabi (Motley Crue) and Dizzy Reed (Guns n Roses). Maeven are Becca Towler on vocals, Sally Gallo on guitar and backing voxx, Hannah San on bass and backing voxx, and Tea on drums.

THRACIA

We've been described as "Furiously energetic metal flavoured punk Rock... fronted by a voice alternatively sweet then throat-raw growling and snarling" That was a CD review, however we're a live band and putting that energy into an intense and memorable live show is most important to us!
We've done nearly 150 gigs in 3 years and always want more! We pride ourselves on our hardworking DIY ethic... we would say that being unsigned!
People cant work out if we’re punk or metal, we’re just us, which is both and a bit more!
New EP 'Sea of Tediocrity' available soon.

CUT GLASS ACCENT

Cut Glass Accent have been writing and performing together since 2003. They’ve recently formed their own label Scattered Records on which they will be releasing their own material, preferring to self release despite interest from a number of independent labels. Their first release on Scattered Records was dual single Cherryade / Credibility in June this year, the release has gained interest from BBC Introducing’s Steve Lamacq who immediately fell for their driving guitar sound. From their base in the North East of England, Cut Glass Accent have secured some amazing live slots with bands like Hundred Reasons, Mike TV, and Random Hand. The band will be taking their show on tour round the UK this summer, Check their MySpace for gig listings.

THE VIBES

The Vibes are three rebels from Aarau, Switzerland. They joined each other in late 2002 and since then they have been taking care of their business to spread their rock ‘n’ roll like a fever. The sound’s rather rude, you know, overdriven guitars and basses, roaring drums and organs, some Southern Jack Daniel’s rock influences and the lifestyle of rock ‘n’ roll. Last year they released their awesome new album ‘Whiskey, Sex & Rock’n’Roll!’ In their own words MoJo, Matlock and Stuntman Jack describe their sound as, “the short circuit in your brain – gleep gleep – T.C.B. rock’n’roll – cheerio – carpe diem – burp – gleep gleep gug jargaroona – cheers!” They live the life here and now! Enjoy the show, carpe diem.

FIREFALLDOWN

Inspirational, semi-sophisticated, and anthemic... this is Firefalldown.
The London-based, Filipino-British three-piece band bring their own brand of melodic funkcore to the UK underground scene, combining elements of UK indie rock, skate punk, and Motown. Their energetic live shows and songs have been described as "dynamic, intriguing and underpinned by a refreshing intelligence".
Firefalldown is meant to convey passion and intensity. "We play to ignite people's hearts, see them come alive, aligning themselves in ways that break them free from the clutches of the ordinary. Our vision is to see a generation living lives that make a difference."

CONSOLATION PRIZEFIGHTER

“It isn’t going to happen, unless you do it yourself”, one ethos behind Plymouth based Consolation Prizefighter. Established by guitarist vocalist Neil and drummer Marc in 2005; most recently joined by Oz on trombone and bass player Craig. Their debut album “Share Music” (another ethos: that their music should be shared with people); written, recorded and self produced in Plymouth, then mastered by Devin Ocampo in the USA; was released through the bands own label, UPR Records. They’ve got big drums, big guitars and big discordant melody. If you want influences then you’re going to have to check their ipods, there’s simply too many to list! Next on the cards is a two track vinyl, hopefully mixed by Jon Congleton!
