Following their surprise set on the Radio 1 stage at Reading Festival last weekend, Green Day have announced that they will return for a full UK tour next year.

The first of these shows to be announced is a performance at the Emirates Stadium in North London on June 1st 2013.

The venue has a capacity of 60,000 and tickets for the show will go onsale on September 28th 2012.

Green Day's album trilogy, '¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, ¡Tré!', will be released separately. The first album, '¡Uno!', comes out on September 24th, with '¡Dos!' following on November 12th and '¡Tré!' on January 14th 2013.
