The rumours are true, Green Day are playing an intimate show at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire on Thursday (23rd August).

The band's statement reads:

“Green Day are playing THIS Thursday at Shepherds Bush. There will be an exclusive presale through the official Green Day fan club, Idiot Club (http://www.idiotclub.com) starting 21 August at 9:00am local venue time. Remember, you also get fan club membership when your pre-order the deluxe boxset at splash.greenday.com. Public onsale will start 21 August at 12:00pm local venue time via gigsandtours.com“.
