Hevy Festival has announced that this year, due to the unspeakably shit weather lately ruining festivals left, right and centre, they'll be putting a massive roof over the festival. That's problem solving!
Their announcement reads like this:
"In true British style, the weather has been a little, err... shall we say temperamental recently and whilst we can't control the climate, we have been working on a plan to make sure it doesn't affect the most important weekend this summer....
Using production wizardry and festival witchcraft, we've put a roof over every stage for this year's Hevy Festival! Here’s the science - we've merged our 4 existing stages into 3, with 2 alternating Main Stages under one roof (which means there are now NO TIME CLASHES for all major bands) and our Red Bull Bedroom Jam Stage boasting it's own tent. All this without compromising set times!"
They've also made the final additions of Cruel Hand, Eisberg, Night Verses and Desolated.
Headliners across the stages include Descendents, Andrew WK, Glassjaw, Converge and Meshuggah.
Check out the full line-up for the festival, taking place at Port Lympne Wild Animal Park in Kent on August 3rd to 6th, and get tickets at:
